Libby Langdon Partners with Bradburn Gallery on her Latest Licensed Collection to Launch at High
Point Market, October, 2015
Celebrated Interior Designer and
Television Makeover Personality Libby Langdon Brings Her
“Easy, Elegant, Everyday Style” to Her First Collection of Lamps,
Accessories and Accent Furniture
High Point, NC, March 25, 2015 – Interior designer, author and makeover television
personality, Libby Langdon, is partnering with Bradburn Gallery to introduce
her first collection of lamps, accessories, and accent furniture set to launch
at the High Point Market in October, 2015. Known for her “easy, elegant,
everyday style” and growing collections of branded home furnishings, Langdon
focuses on offering beautifully made products that are sleek, chic and affordable.
The Libby Langdon for Bradburn
Gallery Collection will feature a coordinated collection of lighting, wall
décor, accent furniture and unique tabletop accessories. “Stylistically
speaking, my collection reflects the needs and wants of my clients,” Langdon
says. “The primary elements are elegant clean-lines and fashion forward looks.
Time after time, I find that my clients don’t want anything too modern, yet they
do like fresh color combinations and updated silhouettes that are not too fussy
or formal.”
“Libby’s enthusiasm and energy
for design is inspiring,” said Bruce Bradburn, CEO of The Bradburn Gallery, which
will debut two collections during the Fall Market in the company’s flagship
showroom in the Steele Building. Bradburn added, “Our consumers will find
terrific looks at affordable prices while experiencing world class design
developed by artisans around the world dedicated to bringing Libby’s vision to
life.”
“I’m so excited to be partnering
with Bradburn Gallery to introduce a whole new look to the gorgeous items they
have been offering to designers and retailers for years,” Langdon remarked. “Bradburn
is such a wonderful company and trustworthy brand well-known for their
incredible quality and impeccable manufacturing standards. I’m looking forward
to adding an exciting new design direction with my “Libby twist” at a great
price point.”
Bradburn Gallery is the creation
of Fran & Bruce Bradburn, who combined efforts to develop a unique line of
lighting and decorative décor. Focusing on finely crafted elements designed by
Fran Bradburn and brought to life by artisans in both the USA and around the
globe, Bradburn Gallery serves a diverse customer base. Fran Bradburn extolled Langdon’s fresh vision
for the company, “Libby’s attention to detail is impressive. Her ability to
translate common sense, yet elegant solutions to everyday décor challenges is
inspiring. The five collections she has developed so far are spot-on for
today’s consumer.”
“When I first met Fran and Bruce
Bradburn and Martin Lucki,” said Langdon,” I not only respected the beautiful
quality of their existing product line, I also just really adored them as
people and saw a team that I could build something amazing with for the
long-term. I was so excited at their
response to my initial style ideas. And even though my designs incorporate
different materials than they usually use, they wasted no time in working with
their outstanding manufacturers to push the limits to achieve the looks and
styles that I believe will be a fantastic addition to the Bradburn collection”.
Fran Bradburn added, “We’re delighted
to be partners and have been thrilled with the design process so far, Libby has
an intuitive sense of color, texture and scale along with the vision to meld
them all together into an intriguing interior story. I am inspired by the mix of materials she
envisions and the coordinated relationship of pieces within each
collection. Plus, she is just downright
FUN to work with and creative in so many inspiring ways!”
Monthly columnist to House Beautiful magazine and contributor
to NBC’s TODAY Show, Langdon is a
makeover television veteran from hit shows including HGTV’s Small Space Big Style, The Rachael Ray Show,
and The View as well as her own
series, Daykeover with Libby
Langdon. “Working in makeover TV has allowed me a unique and wonderful opportunity
to travel across the country going into real people’s homes to see how we all
really live and what we really want,” said Langdon. “It’s fascinating to see
the common threads between my makeover TV clients and my private clients no
matter the difference in budget. I also adore the one-on-one time that I spend
working with real consumers across the country.
It gives me the inside scoop on the styles and looks that real people
like. All of that invaluable information gets injected into the products I design
and I look forward to bringing that insight and design inspiration to my
collection for Bradburn Gallery.”
Bradburn Gallery, in addition to
the new Libby Langdon Collection, also features licensed collections with
iconic West Coast designer Barclay Butera and Mid-West designer Melea Markell. Libby
Langdon for Bradburn Gallery will be the latest in her growing lines of branded
home collections, to include her Upholstery Furniture Collection for Braxton
Culler, Chandelier and Lighting Collection for Crystorama, Rug Line for Tiger
Rug, and Wallpaper Collection for Casart Coverings.
