The kitchen is the most popular room in the home, but most people automatically see dollar signs when thinking about doing any improvements. But design expert Libby Langdon shows you how a few inexpensive touches can really add that "wow" factor to your kitchen.
Use medicine cabinets
If you have a small kitchen with not enough cabinet space, hang medicine cabinets on the wall. The mirrored front reflects light and makes your kitchen appear larger, and the cabinet depth is perfect for a single row of glasses or spices.
Paint old tile
If you have ugly, outdated tiles on a back splash or counter, paint them! There is a product called Armorproxy that is specifically for tile and it will make it look new and fresh.
Spray your countertops
If you hate your Formica countertops, there is a spray called Stone Spray that you put on your old countertops and makes them look like granite! It looks modern and you would never know that there is Formica underneath.
